How can a normal user determine the disk storage size and bandwidth that is right for his / her website? Generally speaking, text does not take much space, if any. When it comes to images and videos, it's totally a different story.
Based on average usage, a storage space of 2MB is considerably sufficient for websites with say ten HTML pages and five medium-size images.
Bandwidth depends totally on how famous is your website, and how frequent are your visitors in visiting it. Unless you are coming up with the Facebook-killer gig, you should not worry much about traffic in your first year.
